Ahmed AlQasim is one of Bahrain’s celebrated musicians and jazz stalwarts. Having featured regularly in festivals from Bahrain to Cairo, Ahmed brings his brings his a unique jazz and blues music show, "Ahmed AlQasim's Jazz Experience" , which presents Ahmed singing, playing his 7-string bass guitar together with two Bahraini musicians - Abdulla Haji on Saxophone and Noor AlAwadhi on percussions.
Fronted by Mohammed Rashid, Bahrain’s well known jazz guitarist, the Trio is heavily inspired by the revolutionary playing style of Gypsy Jazz pioneer Django Reinhardt, while simultaneously infusing contemporary renditions of both Arabic and Western classics to produce a sound that will take you all the way back to 1930s Paris.
The trio will feature Banah, Bahrain based singer songwriter who recently opened for icon Tom Jones in Bahrain. Expect an out of this world set filled with gypsy jazz, soul, blues, jazz with an Arabic touch.
Captain Tea is a Bahraini electronic musician and Dj. He's a genre bender, who loves to dish out funk, afrobeat, house, latin, a sprinkling of jazz, and a slice of techno for good measure. As a founding member of Boho Baha, Captain Tea has been involved in organizing a number of local music focused events.
Captain Tea has released music under his moniker of The Nibblatron for the Portuguese Label Lovers and Lollypops as part of a remix compilation for The Flamingods. He Is also an Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp Alumni.
